Stepping Stones Daycare  - Ashcroft B.C.

Up to 17.5 hours per week.  $18.39 to $25.63/hour depending on experience and education.  

Yellowhead Community Services Society, an integrated health/social service agency with offices located in Clearwater, Barriere, Ashcroft, and Lillooet, BC, is recruiting for a regular, part-time position within our child care team in Ashcroft, BC.  The start date is as soon as is practicable.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As a team member working in the Licensed Childcare program, you will be responsible for creating and fostering a safe and caring environment that encourages and supports children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Early Childhood Educator, Early Childhood Educator Assistant, or Responsible Adult (working towards ECEA certification) preferred.  Free education and skills training opportunities will be provided for those willing to begin a career, or advance their career in childcare.
• Terms of employment: part-time, regular position
• Wage Range: $18.27 to $25.63/hour (depending on experience and certification)
• Wage Enhancement for ECE positions
• Work Location: Stepping Stones Daycare, 711 Hill Street, Ashcroft, BC
• First Aid: Successful candidates will receive First Aid training if they do not already have certification
• Appointment will be subject to a clear criminal record check and positive reference checks
