Role and Facility Information

Come and join the medical team in Ashcroft at our Urgent and Primary Care Centre!

Ashcroft is part of the Thompson Cariboo Primary Care Network (PCN) a collaborative partnership between the Rural and Remote Division of Family Practice, Interior Health, and the Nlaka’pamux Nation. The Ashcroft Centre will operate within the current Ashcroft Health Center the homeland of the Nlaka’pamux people.

The target population in Ashcroft will be a general population with services that span the care continuum. The service model comprises Longitudinal full service primary care for patients attached to the Centre for the general population.

This is an interdisciplinary group practice focused on team-based care that includes physicians, nurse practitioners, RNs, clinic manager, MOA support, and other allied health. The Centre will operate from 0800 to 2000, 7 days a week.

As a rural physician and part of the Rural and Remote Division of Family Practice you have access to a number of educational opportunities; including Rural CPD Program from UBC, Practice Support Program to name a few.
