Job Summary:
VisionQuest Recovery society is a non-profit, registered, addictions recovery organization located in Logan Lake, Abbotsford and Surrey, BC. We are looking to add to our team in Logan Lake. As Client Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support to residents in recovery, ensuring their well-being. The Client Support Worker plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and empowering the residents in their recovery efforts.
Duties:
- Assist individuals with medication management as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Liaise with therapeutic team about clients’ needs i.e., medical, mental health
- Monitoring client behavior and communicating to therapeutic team.
- Scheduling & management of MD appointments
- Assist facilitation of topic groups, assist with step classes
- Transportation
Requirements:
- Experience in social service sector i.e., treatment and recovery, outreach, housing
- Skilled in conflict resolution strategies
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office and capacity to learn
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Capacity to maintain professional boundaries
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity of reconciliation efforts and First Nations' health practices
- Addictions support worker certificate or equivalent or,
- Willing to further education to comply with requirement
- Must pass criminal record check for vulnerable adults
- Drivers license

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
